About the Founder

Felicia Johnson, MBA, CDP (Certified Diversity Professional) is the Founder and Managing Director of Gatson Group, LLC. She is an experienced diversity and inclusion ‘architect’, with over 20 years of experience building diversity and inclusion infrastructure, vision and strategy. Felicia’s corporate background includes roles in global organizations where she was responsible for creating and executing diversity, inclusion, training and engagement strategies.

Work Experience

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company

Global Manager of Diversity and Inclusion - Akron, OH
In this role, Felicia supported the design and implementation of the global strategy for diversity and inclusion supporting 60,000+ employees across North America, Latin America, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and Asia-Pacific. In addition, she oversaw the diversity and inclusion component of the GRI Reporting Requirements, co-created the first D&I leader workshop, and created and facilitated the company's first Inclusive Leadership learning curriculum. This course is now being offered globally.

Cabela's, Inc.

Sr. Manager of Diversity & Inclusion - Sidney, NE
At Cabela’s, Felicia developed the business case for diversity, as well as oversaw the creation and deployment of company-wide diversity and inclusion training, the first in the history of the company. Results included a 97% penetration rate for all US based Directors and above in the first 120 days of deployment and a 98% approval rating.

Nissan North America

Sr. Diversity Analyst - Franklin, TN
Felicia co-led the design and execution of company-wide diversity and inclusion strategies spanning the US, Canada, Mexico and Brazil. In addition, she served as the Assistant Secretary to the Global Inclusion Council, and managed the diversity and inclusion training program serving 25,000+ employees. In addition, she served for six years as a board member with The Nissan Foundation Board of Directors.
